The Industrial Artificial Intelligence (iAI) Laboratory aims to drive AI innovation across various industries by leveraging advanced artificial intelligence technologies. Rooted in mechanical engineering, the lab focuses on applying AI to diverse engineering systems, leading pioneering research that explores new possibilities.
While a fundamental understanding of AI is required, our emphasis is placed more heavily on AI applications (AIX) rather than theoretical development.
Due to the nature of our research, we actively collaborate with external research institutions. We welcome inquiries from postdoctoral researchers and graduate students interested in applying AI to one or more of the following four areas: Manufacturing AI, Robotics AI, Materials AI, and Medical AI
Please contact Prof. Seungchul Lee via email if you are interested in joining the lab.
Industrial AI Lab requires interdisciplinary engineering fields:
1) Statistics, probability, and optimization
2) Machine learning and deep learning
3) Discrete signal processing and control
4) Mechanical and electrical design skills
